(734)241-3377 Over 22 years ago, Frances Jagielski began her career as an educator working for public, online, and Catholic schools. Throughout her career, she has taught grades 4-12 in English Language Arts, General Education and Computer Technology. Her passion for learning and leading resides in Catholic education. Mrs. Jagielski received her undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University in Middle Childhood Education (grades 4-9) with certification in Integrated Language Arts and Reading and Integrated Social Studies, and licensed with two endorsements: (PreK-12) Reading Specialist and (PreK-12) Educational Computer Technology. She holds two master's degrees in education from Lourdes University in Sylvania, Ohio, one in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Curriculum Development in Instructional Technology and the other in Educational Leadership. She has served in various capacities over her career: Interim Principal, Middle School Dean of Instruction and Programming, Ohio Department of Education Resident Educator Program mentor, Virtual Support Educator, lead teacher and department head. Additionally, she has chaired numerous committees including academic council, student assistance teams, school improvement teams and professional development planning. Mrs. Jags, as she is affectionately known, serves as an advocate for Project House of Hope, an organization in Montrouis, Haiti. She also serves on the Board for the Mustard Seed Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity and Ohio/ Michigan scholarship Grating Organization helping families send their children to Catholic preschool through high school. As she administrates as the Assistant Principal for Academics & Student Affairs, Mrs. Jagielski looks forward to serving and leading the MCES community to grow in God’s love, inspiring them to become the best versions of themselves both academically and spiritually. Mrs. Jagielski has been married to her husband, Jeremy, for 22 years. They have three children: Aidan (19), Elliott (16) and Delaney (14). She and her family are parishioners of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in West Toledo where they reside. |
