Transportation Options
Shuttle Bus Drop-off / Shuttle Bus Pick-up
The free shuttle runs to the elementary campuses each morning. If you are driving your children to school and need us to transport them to another campus, they will ride the shuttles. For the morning shuttle bus, please plan to arrive to load the bus no later than 7:30 a.m. Please also note that we do not have St. Michael Campus students ride the shuttles. If you have a student at St. Michael campus that you plan to drive to school, please drop off and pickup at St. Michael.
The buses run to and from the elementary schools after school hours. Parents choosing to utilize the Shuttle Bus will pick-up their children at one campus after 2:40 p.m.
Monroe Public School (MPS) Transportation
If your student is riding the MPS buses you DO NOT USE the MCES shuttles as the public school buses will pickup and drop off your students directly to the correct campus.
Monroe Public Schools busing does not start till after Labor Day.
Monroe Public Schools (MPS) offer bus transportation to students residing in the MPS district. MPS transportation will not differ in any way from previous years. Parents who choose to utilize the MPS Transportation can become familiar with the routes and routines of MPS by contacting the MPS transportation department, (734) 265-3300.
MCES students, residing in the MPS district, riding the MPS bus in the afternoon will board the MPS bus at their school location at 2:30 p.m. as in past years.
St. Mary Catholic Central/MCES Transportation:
North Route serves: Newport, Rockwood, Trenton, Woodhaven, New Boston, Waltz, Flat Rock and Carleton

- Morning and Afternoon Transportation ($500.00 per year per student)
- Morning Transportation only ($250.00 per year per student)
- Afternoon Transportation only ($250.00 per year per student)
