Dear MCES Parents,

As we continue our work to plan the transportation routes and schedules for the 2025-2026 school year, we would like to remind all families that plan to utilize the SMCC School Day Transportation Service for all or part of the next school year to fill out this form by July 28 to assist with our planning purposes.

If you do not complete the form by the July 28 deadline, we cannot guarantee that you will receive transportation for this year.  If you are still considering, please fill the form out now, and it is much easier for us to remove you later.

Costs for the 2025-2026 school year remain at $250 for one way transportation (morning or afternoon only) or $500 for full year both morning and afternoon service.

If you have any questions, please contact:

• SMCC Transportation Director: Jared Janssen at [email protected]

May God bless you and your families with the rest of your summer!

Transportation Options

Shuttle Bus Drop-off / Shuttle Bus Pick-up
The free shuttle runs to the elementary campuses each morning.  If you are driving your children to school and need us to transport them to another campus, they will ride the shuttles.  For the morning shuttle bus, please plan to arrive to load the bus no later than 7:30 a.m.  Please also note that we do not have St. Michael Campus students ride the shuttles.  If you have a student at St. Michael campus that you plan to drive to school, please drop off and pickup at St. Michael.

The buses run to and from the elementary schools after school hours.  Parents choosing to utilize the Shuttle Bus will pick-up their children at one campus after 2:40 p.m.

Monroe Public School (MPS) Transportation

If your student is riding the MPS buses you DO NOT USE the MCES shuttles as the public school buses will pickup and drop off your students directly to the correct campus.
Monroe Public Schools busing does not start till after Labor Day.
Monroe Public Schools (MPS) offer bus transportation to students residing in the MPS district.  MPS transportation will not differ in any way from previous years.  Parents who choose to utilize the MPS Transportation can become familiar with the routes and routines of MPS by contacting the MPS transportation department, (734) 265-3300.

MCES students, residing in the MPS district, riding the MPS bus in the afternoon will board the MPS bus at their school location at 2:30 p.m. as in past years.
