The 2025-2026 AOD Tuition Assistance Application will open on December 16, 2024, and close on February 28, 2025. Parents may visit the Detroit Catholic Schools Tuition Assistance Page for application information.
Parents should reference the Parent information Document for details regarding the application and contact FACTS Customer Service for individual application questions.
For Catholic Families only: All awardee families must be current members of a Catholic parish within the Archdiocese of Detroit. Your Pastor’s signature on the form below is required to complete your application. Forms must be turned into your school’s office by February 28, 2025. Non-Catholic Applicants do NOT need to turn in a Pastor Signature Form.

These webinars will be a chance for applicants to fully understand the application requirements and ask any questions they may have. The dates, times and webinar links are posted below.

Friends of MCES Scholarship Fund
Founded in 2018, the Friends of MCES Scholarship Fund was established to provide support to our families. The Friends of MCES Scholarship Fund is managed by the Catholic Foundation of Michigan and the number of awards annually will vary due to fluctuations in the market. The Luella Amolsch Trust Scholarship
The Luella Amolsch Trust provides an annual scholarship to all students who are registered members of St. Michael the Archangel Parish. No application is required.

The Rosalyn Keck Scholarship
The Rosalyn Keck scholarship is available to students at MCES or SMCC. Students must be in good standing with the school to be considered for this scholarship. To apply, send transcripts, two years of parent's tax returns and a letter of recommendation to:

The Mustard Seed Education Foundation Scholarships
Due April 2025
School families and parishioners at the following will be eligible to receive scholarships from The Mustard Seed (preschool through 8th grade):
School families and parishioners at the following will be eligible to receive scholarships from The Mustard Seed (preschool through 8th grade):
- In addition to schools in Lucas and Wood County, OH, school families and parishioners from the 6 parishes and 2 schools in southeastern Monroe County in the Archdiocese of Detroit: Erie St. Joseph, Temperance Mount Carmel, Temperance St. Anthony, Monroe St. Mary, Monroe St. John, Monroe St. Michael, and Monroe Catholic Elementary.
- The Scholarship of The Mustard Seed is awarded to committed Catholic families that help spread the word of God in their community. It is based on Matthew 13: 31-32.
- The Scholarship of The Offering is awarded to single parents doing everything they can to send their children to Catholic schools. It is based on Mark 12: 41-44.
- The Scholarship of the Good Shepherd is awarded to a public school family wanting to try Catholic schools for the first time. It is based on John 10: 14-17.
