The 2026-2027 AOD Tuition Assistance Application will open on December 15, 2025, and close on February 27, 2026. Parents may visit the Detroit Catholic Schools Tuition Assistance Page for application information.
Parents should reference the Parent information Document for details regarding the application and contact FACTS Customer Service for individual application questions.
For Catholic Families only: All awardee families must be current members of a Catholic parish within the Archdiocese of Detroit. Your Pastor’s signature on the form below is required to complete your application. Forms must be turned into your school’s office by February 27, 2026. Non-Catholic Applicants do NOT need to turn in a Pastor Signature Form.

Founded in 2018, the Friends of MCES Scholarship Fund was established to provide support to our families. The Friends of MCES Scholarship Fund is managed by the Catholic Foundation of Michigan and the number of awards annually will vary due to fluctuations in the market. THE LUELLA ALMOSCH TRUST SCHOLARSHIP
THE THELMA M & JOSEPH N. LAHOOD, SR. MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Thelma M. and Joseph N. LaHood, Sr. Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established for scholarships to be awarded annually; the amount to be equally determined for everyone; and to be directed toward partial payment of their tuition for the academic year granted.
THE SUSAN LYKE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
On October 27, 2020, the St. Michael the Archangel Parish Community lost a faithful servant of the parish and of Jesus Christ: Susan Lyke. Susan chose to serve Christ through her ministry as pastoral associate at St. Michael Parish. Susan worked tirelessly to ensure her faith was shared with all those she met. To cherish her memory, the Lyke family has established the Susan Lyke Memorial Scholarship Fund to be awarded annually to an MCES student whose family belongs to St. Michael to Archangel Parish.
THE ROSALYN KECK SCHOLARSHIP
The Rosalyn Keck scholarship is available to students at MCES or SMCC. Students must be in good standing with the school to be considered for this scholarship.

The Mary sue terrasi ius vitae Scholarship
The Mary Sue Terrasi Ius Vitae Scholarship was established by the family and friends of Mary Sue (Cook) Terrasi, subsequent to her passing, through Catholic Foundation of Michigan. The Ius Vitae Fund, and this new scholarship, are designed to support activities that champion a pro-life ethic. The term 'Ius Vitae', in Latin, means, 'Right to Life'.
the mustard seed education foundation scholarship
School families and parishioners at the following will be eligible to receive scholarships from The Mustard Seed (preschool through 8th grade):
- In addition to schools in Lucas and Wood County, OH, school families and parishioners from the 6 parishes and 2 schools in southeastern Monroe County in the Archdiocese of Detroit: Erie St. Joseph, Temperance Mount Carmel, Temperance St. Anthony, Monroe St. Mary, Monroe St. John, Monroe St. Michael, and Monroe Catholic Elementary.
- The Scholarship of The Mustard Seed is awarded to committed Catholic families that help spread the word of God in their community. It is based on Matthew 13: 31-32.
- The Scholarship of The Offering is awarded to single parents doing everything they can to send their children to Catholic schools. It is based on Mark 12: 41-44.
- The Scholarship of the Good Shepherd is awarded to a public school family wanting to try Catholic schools for the first time. It is based on John 10: 14-17.
- Application closes on April 30, 2026
