Miss Knapp's Fourth Grade Classroom
Thank you so much for the thoughtful gifts during teacher appreciation week! I love all of them, and I am very thankful for them!
Students are now allowed to wear shorts for the rest of the year (starting on April 13th, 2023). On Jeans Days/Dress Down Days, they may only wear the school khaki shorts or school gym shorts. No other shorts may be worn at any time.
Welcome Parents and Students to the 2022-2023 School Year!

Reading Log: The next reading log will be due on Friday, June 2nd. The students should be reading 10-15 minutes each week night, taking weekends off. In order to receive full credit for a reading log, a student must have a minimum of 15 entries in on month. Parents must initial or sign the reading log. Less than 15 entries on a reading log will result in loss of points.
Writing and Editing Tests: The students will be tested every other week on writing, typically on Fridays. We go over paragraph editing every day in class. Fridays they will be tested on the skills learned throughout that week (such as end marks, capitals, underlining, quotes, etc...). They will also be tested on writing a short paragraph on an assigned topic using those same skills.
