Meet Miss Jaskot:
Hello!
My name is Brittany Jaskot. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University where I double majored in Elementary Education and Reading. I have plans to take my reading certification exam in the next couple of months. I am enrolled for a Master of Arts in Reading program at Eastern as we speak. Go Eagles!
This is my second year teaching at MCES- St. John Campus. I am so excited to be back, and am truly blessed to be working with the best of the best. I am looking forward to an outstanding school year! I cannot wait to see all of the fun that this school year holds!
I live in Carleton with my family and we attend St. Patrick's (Divine Grace). We have 2 wonderful dogs, Dawson, and Poppy! We have 3 crazy cats, Timbers, Zane, and Miles! ( The 2 cats live with me now) I enjoy reading and spending time with my family, wherever we may be at.
I am super excited to be a part of MCES-St. John Campus! I am looking forward to working with students, parents and staff to make this the best year possible. My philosophy of teaching is to obtain a safe learning environment for all my students in which they feel comfortable to express their feelings, take risks, and learn to their highest potential. I will instill a love of learning in my students and help them to develop a positive, caring, and respectful attitude. I will allow my students to feel success and to learn from their mistakes. I want every student to leave my classroom with a smile on his/her face and a desire to learn in his/her heart.
