Camp Read was a lot of fun!  Here are a few pictures.  I emailed individual pictures to everyone.  

The students were excited to use the new flash cards donated to our classroom.  Our first Flash Card Friday was a success!!!

The last Mystery Reader surprise this week was that Ms. Kavanagh switched 1st Grade Classes and read a story.  It was a lot of fun!

The students loved having Mr. Mike as our Mystery Reader this week!  There were so many laughs!

The Leprechaun visited the classroom and left a scavenger hunt for the kids.  They found their prize by reading and following the clues.  They loved it!  It was also a treat to go outside for recess with no coats!  Spring is right around the corner!

We are busy reading our Mystery Books, Mystery Box, countdown to 100 books and so far 2 Mystery Readers:  Mrs. Manaici and Mrs. Yaeger!

Students were birds and experimented with 2 different types of beaks.  The picked up food by itself then had to pick it up around the rocks.  There were able to see which one worked best.
